I remember when my professor put a 3rd stripe on my white belt. He said, “My blue belts don’t hurt people. When you grab the gi don’t pinch skin.”
I guess I didn’t realize I’d been doing that. I’ve been mindful since.
Yeah, after a few times I’m grabbing a handful.
I absolutely hate disrespectful people who at the end of a sparring round don’t reciprocate a kiss goodbye

I don’t like it when, in a small class, the teacher is showing a move and another student wants a better viewing angle so they cross in front of me to get where they’re going. I always go around the back of people to get a better view, in order to be polite. Am I way too uptight or are they rude?
