I'm new to battle ropes for MMA training. Does using battle ropes strengthen your wrists or just your forearms and upper arms?
Assuming I use good form when punching and assuming battle ropes strengthens the wrists (to prevent wrist flexion/wrist sprains when punching), do you think 1.5" battle ropes are thick/heavy enough to give my wrists a good workout? or should I go straight to 2" rope? Thanks.
Rope don't hit back..use two or 2 rattlesnakes of any dimension instead

For UFC fighting 2" for general fitness 1.5" or 3" if you are a stereotypical black person
