1 week 15 - 20reps 3sets...

the other week 4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 6.
Is this worth while or should I just do x amount of weeks high reps then change?

I've been doing the 12, 10, 8, 6 thing for about 8 weeks now & feel like mixing it up. A couple of the local body builders sugested this switching back & forth training. What about 1 week high reps the next week 4 sets of 6 - 8 reps?

I'm training 2 muscle groups each session.

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

at the moment size $ fatloss, will do strength on next cycle.

20 reps is a really high range. That's good if you're training for muscular endurance.

If you want to lose weight, you should do weights in a more resonable range (5-12) and run or do some other form of cardio.
