Even with the deduction Caceres got robbed IMO. All Figueroa had was the nice head kick and Alex still owned that round once it went to the floor. Should have been 10-9, 8-9, 10-9 for 28-27 win

Ok, I don't think you guys understand the scoring system. 10 point must. The round winner MUST get 10 points. Since Leeroy got deducted 2 points. Figueroa wins that round 10-8. The other 2 rounds could have been 10-9s for Leeroy. Which would make it 28-28.

I thought that too, but if leeroy actually won the 2nd rd, which he clearly did, do the judges not HAVE to score him 10, and THEN subtract the 2 foul points? Leaving it 8-9? Having scored it 10-9 first?
I do not know the answer and would be curious to see how this has to be scored!

No, you still don't get it. Somebody MUST be get 10 points. 10-10, 10-9, 10-8, 10-7. The round CANNOT be scored 9-8.

Umm... I don't think you understand it? That would be ridiculous. Caceres won the round so he would get 10 points, minus 2 for the deduction: 8-9 round
