10 Most Influential People in MMA

Punch Drunk Fighter is excited about its new feature series: "Top 10".

"Top 10" will provide a unique look into the underpinnings of MMA. Our first list--"The Most Influential Characters in MMA"--delivers a list of characters that have had the most influence in creating the MMA we see today. Unlike most lists, no one on the list has ever appeared in the cage. Each day we will release one name.

Also, PDF has launched "Technique of the Day." Today's technique is courtesy of Rener and Ryron Gracie of the Gracie Academy.

PDF is always looking for contributors. If anyone is interested in posting techniques, blogging or vlogs (video blogs). The website is the perfect platform to get yourself heard.

How can Sakuraba not conceivably be on anyone's list of the most influential fighters ever.

And how the fuck have Rampage and BJ had so much "influence" upon the sport as a whole (more so than Dan Severn, Mark Coleman, Mo Smith, Igor Vov, Tito, even Rickson for building up vale tudo in Japan).

No, actually my list was unbelievably good. An afterthought though I would say I would take off Chuck Liddell in place of Sakuraba and maybe Rampage off in place of Dan Severn seeing Dan was the first MMAer to show the dominance a straight wrestler can have in MMA.
