Mauricio Da Silva is a Brazilian Kyokushin Karate guy. He is Francisco Filho's training partner.

If you could take all the best fights from the three shows together into one show, then you'd be in business...

Otherwise, Pride sounds pretty lame altogether.

As you know, these 3 shows will be aired live on regular TV in Japan. So, they set their important matches in the prime time to get high TV rating. So, the last match doesn't mean main event this time.

By the way, I have 3 TVs in my room. So, I can watch them all at the same time :) I will watch INOKI on PPV, and others on regular(free) TV.

The Predator is a pro wrestler. His real name is Sylvester Terkay. IIRC, Terkay won the NCAA Division 1 title in 1993 in wrestling.

Here's where it gets funny...

Tom Howard is the head instructor at Ultimate University, Universal Pro-Wrestling's school. Ultimate University is Rick Bassman's school. I guess Rick Bassman was/is a legit (I hear) Sambo guy who used to train MMA guys for pro-wrestlers MMA. When Bassman got really into UPW, he sold his school Extreme University, his Sambo school.

"The Predator" is one of their prized students.

Anyways, Evan "Joe Millionaire" Marriot trained at Ultimate University. So you can actually see Tow Howard interviewed a bunch of times in the Joe Millionaire 1 wrap up show as, "Tom - Evan's Friend"
