read it again.

but...
LOL at Cage Rage having a better 2005 than the WEC.

kinda close actually...Cage Rage has more Pride and Ufc Vets if you look at it that way.

Fedor/CroCop was not FOTY. It was the biggest and most anticipated fight of the year, but there were fights with much better action and excitement.

I agree with Tomato Can

imo...i thought NOG VS SHOGUN was F.O.T.Y

ive watched that fight numerous times...great back and forht action, with technique involved aswell

great war!!

The lack of finish didn't hurt it as much as the fact that it was pretty non-competitive after the 1st round. CroCop had very little offense from there on out.

the next two were close

WINNER: Fedor vs. Cro Cop 33.98% (35 votes)

RUNNER-UP: Stephen Bonnar vs. Forrest Griffin 29.13% (30 votes)

Rogerio Nogueira vs. Shogun 22.33% (23 votes)

i would have been fine with any of the three

fedor vs cro cop had the best story

bonnar vs griffin was the most entertaining

nog vs shogun was the best technically

Fedor is the answer for every category including the ones for best events until he loses.

ttt

I agree with all except Pride having a better promotion than the UFC in 2005.

The UFC had 4 great PPV's in 51, 52, 54, & 56.

They also had 4 very good "Free" Spike shows in TUF 1-2 & UFN 1-2.

The UFC did have 2 bad shows in 53 & 55 but that shouldn't discredit the other shows.

The best part of Pride this past year was the CroCop/Fedor fight and the LW Grand Prix. Yes, there were some big names in the other GP's but they were all turned out to be subpar events overall.

Nice--that's great.

I actually think I agree with Shotcaller above as well. UFC shows were great, and I think they had more impact news wise.

Cindy--are these fan voted on?

I agree with Macedawgg agreeing with me.
