2015 Ford F150 Aluminum Body.. hauling capacity?

Looking into a 2013 F150 ecoboost now but would love to have a lighter, faster truck. We tow a 6500 lb trailer and just curious to see what people think of the new body for hauling.

seriously? no one has interest in this?

I have the 2013 Ecoboost, towing on it is 11,500 which is damn impressive

Heres my bitch

Im not sure what the new F-150 specs are, but I am sure you will be able to tow your trailer

It's already a risky move to switch to aluminum. I'm sure they will prevent any serious drop in specs. Otherwise, the F150 could lose its position on top of the sales charts.

Might be because there is already a thread with 69 replies about this

sorry Judge, my bad.. must remember to use search function! I've driven several ecoboosts and am impressed by power. supposedly people are seeing 0-60 times of 6.2 stock.

I had a '13 fx4 ecoboost and traded for a '14 Silverado 1500 LTZ with the 5.3, and I can't wait to get back in the 2015 ecoboost. This Chevy is a fuckin dog and the gas mileage sucks...it looks great tho. Phone Post 3.0

I like that new 6.2 L chevy engine which is basically the same as the Stingray's... imagine throwing a turbo on that beast. Cant imagine it would be very fuel efficent compared to 5.3 though.

yeah I heard that too and was a little suprised to be honest.. can't imagine Ford making a bad decision on the flagship vehicle though..

Got a 2013 cre fx4, tows a 22ft x 8ft trailer with 4 street bikes in it no problem. With all the spares, generator, toolbox, gear... I don't think you will have a problem unless you get the 2.7l ecoboost
