We have all these interim champs now for guys who are only missing their first defense with four week injuries. Why is this a thing now? Whats next interim SN bets? Well I say it's time for some interim mods! What say you?

Interims are Good. Interim title makes fights more important, solidifies a title shot (don't rely on a "promised" a shot if you win), and belt vs belt is better for promoting Phone Post 3.0

That one didn't make any sense as he was fit again within a couple of months.

The only ones that made sense were the HW one that Nog and Mir held and the BW that TJ took off Barao, as the champ was out for a long time and the division needed to keep moving. We now have an interim belt being given out on the same card the fucking champ is fighting on!!
And a LHW belt that will never be defended. It's getting to be as bad as the WBA.

I don't like interims - theoretically keep division moving while champ out but instead give the number 1 a reason to sit out because 100% will get next title shot whereas number 1 contender could get dogged after promised Phone Post 3.0
