2018 Tbilisi Gran Prix this weekend

Highlights from day 1 and day 2.  Really impressed by the attacking styles and throws.  Very fluid transitions into mat work.

Just randomly decided to check on this forum since it has seemed to be so inactive. Thanks for the reminder, JBB. I haven’t been following IJF competition as much as before but I still enjoy watching.

None of the Asian countries were there.  Don't know if there was a reason for this.  New blood- Junior players trying out their skills at Seniors.  Senior players maturing into contenders.  All have the pay the price so to speak on their development.

I know some of the seniors are rough.

The development at IJF "A" level or Seniors is brutal to say the least.  Especially for these top level Juniors trying their hand at this level.

I am competing next month in the AM-CAN. In fact the logo has me fighting another guy from last year on it.

I stepped out of an O-Soto gari and they caught it on a picture and made the logo out of it.  We have some good seniors there but I will be in the 50 and over Masters division.
