I'm happy to answer any questions related to these affordable training opportunities.

I've been in business for 11 years but surprisingly haven't done much advertising. Word of mouth has served me well over the years. But with three spoiled kids who want food and electricity everyday i should try to be a better businessman. Did I mention I'm no businessman?

Almost forgot.

See you on the mat,

Depending on what kind of work he's looking to do we try to help with the connections for work. Have the guy stop by or give me a call and I'm sure we can figure something out. One of our guys is looking for a $400 a month roommate up our way too.

I will never understand this. Your place is in Bergen County where many of the townships' median police income is above $100K. They obviously don't need the money. As for public service, there are many occupations that are much more important, but are ignored. Fuck garbage men, trade workers, food service workers, RN's or the thousand other jobs that are more important to society, the already overpaid cops have to get another discount and learn how to better beat on the public that pays their salaries.

Eddy, who besides you is teaching at endgame now?

That would depend on how intimately they know me. Colonoscopy 20% or sigmoidoscopy 37% . The difference in discount is based on being awake for one of those procedures while the doctor asks for feedback.

I was at that Lodi location for over seven years. The flooding from Irene wrecked me there September of 2011. 11 years of Endgame could not be stopped by hurricane remnants or a minor eathquake.

I'm in Teterboro now just off of Rt 46 Westbound instead of Eastbound.

Please stop by.

The starting salary for a typical police officer ranges between $25,000 and $52,000. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says the average annual salary of all police officers working in the United States was $47,460 as of May 2006. The middle 50 percent of police officers in the U.S. earns between $35,000 to just under $60,000 a year, while the highest 10 percent earned more than $72,000 a year.

I agree that NJ in general and Bergen County in particular have one of the highest pay scales for municipal law enforcement. http://www.northjersey.com/news/91043294_Police_salaries.htm

However a few things to also consider:

The starting salaries for the newer officers who are more likely to train any combat sports.

I also include the LEO discount to county sheriff, corrections, bailiffs, campus security, transit, any other security, bouncers as well as federal law enforcement.

My public safety discount includes sanitation workers, utility worker, firefighter (volunteer or paid), transit workers, education, EMS, dispatchers, medical, construction, or anyone else who can justify that public safety is part of their job.

This is also a marketing startegy to attract a category of students that may have wacky work and family schedules.

I'm going to tell you secret policy. I have never turned anyone away for an inability to pay. When someone can't afford my gym I make arrangements, barter, postpone and even have helped people out with job connections or other help.

Another not so secret policy or reality is that bullies that are looking to simply learn how to beat people up don't last in any kind of good training environment. It is too humbling. Now calculating psychopaths with multiple personality disorder can probably do quite well in the same environment..

Pugilist82 - I think you have had at least one bad police experience. I have at least three in my life. I however have had dozens of positive experiences and dozens more of professional encounters. Good cops don't seem to like the bad ones either.

I missed being missed; one old skooler to another. I'm trying to get to 1000 posts before 2013.  I think my firdt posts were in 1999 maybe late 1998. The count is off from the reset but I can be a goal oriented type of person on occasion. I know I was a Shazboard and thecombatlist guy in 1998
