I figured this would be a big topic of conversation today but judging by this thread, I guess not. I didn't love the way Riddle fought but I can't see any way to give 2 rounds to Mills!

I'm with you. That was an awful fight and I was rooting for Mills, but that would have been one of the all time worst decisions if another judge agreed with him. 
Sometimes doing very little is better than doing nothing. 
Yeah that was a bit nuts.
Vitor the Taxi Driver Belfort - In 100% seriousness I rewatches the fight and I don't think it would be the worst decision ever.
Mills won the 3rd, in those crazy exchanges he was the one landing and landing with authority. Riddle clearly got the second. The first was actually pretty close. Nothing happened. Two takedowns for Riddle, the first one Mills got up immedialty from. Plus Mills landed a few standing shots and quite a few good ones. That first round was Mills if riddle didn't get side control in the last few seconds and dropped some hammerfists. But Mills had been winning for 4:50.
I'll take your word for it. That sounds like a good argument, I don't want to go back and watch that fight though.

I watched the fight, and reviewed your analysis of the fight, and I have come to conclusion that you were drinking hard.
Does anyone know who the ref was who scored that? Is there an accessible database for judges and their scoring? Man, i would love to follow that judge.
I honestly didn’t think the fight was as bad as people made it out to be. He did get a mount and he was going for a couple of submissions that was nowhere near the finish but he was going for it. It’s not like he didn’t try. It’s just that Mills’ defense was good. Never the less, playing defense doesn’t win you points.
So yes, 29-28 Mills was ridiculous.
