Pune, June 12: SHUBHANGI Dey, three-and-a-half years in age, has been awarded a 1 Dan Black Belt by the Maharashtra Taekwondo Association at the Black Belt gradation exam, held at Agrik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal auditorium in Dombivli (E), Mumbai, recently.
In the same exam, five-year-old Rajat Rajore received a 2 Dan Black Belt as did six-year-old Rituraj Bhetkari. All three are trainees of the city-based Horangee Taekwondo Academy.
These kids will grow up with major attitude problems until a Kimbo or a wrestler humble them in their place.

i once went to an mma event... and during intermission, a school ran by Dale "Apollo" Cook handed out black belts to the students that just "graduated". One of the blackbelts was a (appx) 12 year old boy (who was overweight) and he couldnt even get in the ring to accept his blackbelt. (keep in mind, this is in front of roughly 2000 people) and the kid stood at the apron shaking his head no (about getting thru the ropes) as Cook encouraged him he could do it. until after about a FULL 45 seconds maybe even a 70 seconds, one of the guys had to help him in the ring because the poor kid lacked athleticism to get into the ring... but yet he is a black belt... what does this tell you? Is it too easy to become a black belt in some schools????
