D241 - MartialArtsMixed - Short notice fighters, I don't hold anything against them.
It's ass backwards that they get shit on for missing weight on short notice fights. Thanks for stepping up instead of not steppnig up and making everyone have one less fight to see.
I understand there's an element of being professional and making weight, but this is modern mma where weight cutting is more of a factor than it was in the olden days. I give these guys slack as well.
Completely agree. They saved a fight and showed their desire to get in the cage. That's paramount to the weight in cases such as these.
thatkidrichard91 - I thibk its unfair that they or anyone who misses weight gets an additional two hours. The ones who did make weight id on time so everyone should be able to do it. If not, then they should automatically be deducted the money. Or move the whole weigh ins back two hours so everyone has the same time to make weight
Why would they move it back two hours if they already made weight! It's a disadvantage making weight later as you have less time to rehydrate!

2 weeks I agree, 2 months and no excuse though. But it looks like Masvidal made it

Nice!
Dang...and he cut a pound extra?
Something screwy with Jorge's scale
Making weight is a part of the deal if you're a fighter. No excuse not to make it. Amateurs could use the slack, not the professionals.
The only exception in my mind that is worthy of getting Amy amount of time to continue to try and make weight are the fighters who take the fight on short notice.
Everyone else knew when the weigh-ins were scheduled, no extra time should be given.
