Cung Le, Nate Quarry, and Jon Fitch are more recognized as fighters than Curt Flood was at the time he changed baseball. While his initial lawsuits were not successful, he paved the way for other players to follow suit, and ultimately win. For all of you shills that are saying these 3 are over the hill, disgruntled, bitter men, think again. All it takes is one person to start an avalanche.
This lawsuit was exactly what I thought it'd be, a bunch of ex-bitter fighters teaming up with a powerful firm trying to claim the UFC's a monopoly.
It could of been so much more, it's a failure before launch
"but a fighter's association is not a goal of this lawsuit."
Why isn't Tito a part of the lawsuit? He must have been approached. And many UGers assumed that he was. I wonder what his reasons were.

"Man looks in the abyss, there's nothing staring back at him. At that moment man finds his character. And that is what keeps him out of the abyss."
This shit is hilarious, Nate says the fighters back him 100%...yet there's 3 fighter involved.
They aren't even answering the media's question, dancing around them, hilarious
They haven't even mentioned Bellator yet, what a fail this is
I expected better
Refused to answer Bellator questions, dancing around everything else LOLOLOL.
JoeMimic -HighFreq -Probably because he just made 300k for fighting in Bellator and the existing market for him is just fine.

Tito would have been a huge name in this lawsuit and the most expected one. It is just puzzling that he is not invloved. I am sure he had his reasons, but I question the validity of the lawsuit if a person like Tito, with his name, his previous issues with the UFC and with the importance he puts on his name, his brand and his self-worth, is not involved.
BirdWatcher -potato623 - They haven't even mentioned Bellator yet, what a fail this isI had fun responding to some of your posts before but ffs you're brutal.

Haha, my big issue is this line "but a fighter's association is not a goal of this lawsuit."
That should have been their #1 goal!
I'm a huge Cung fan, I think the UFC did him wrong, but I disagree with him going about it this way.

(Serious question)

Sean Sherk wants in on the suit.

Call up Dana, have a meeting with Lorenzo, talk to Joe Silva, or one of the execs and tell them you want to be released. I'm sure they'll come to some type of an agreement. UFC and Cung's always had a good relationship
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but a class action lawsuit can start with as little as one plaintff and end up with millions of plaintiffs by the time the settlement occurs. I believe sometimes you can even automatically be made a part of the class unless you opt out. Any UFC fighter from December 16, 2010 onward could end up being a part of this even if they aren't now I believe?

Yes, any fighter from that point can join
If you get let go and immediately get a job in your field as Fitch did doesn't that go against what they are trying to prove?
Him going on to lose twice as well doesn't help.
I'm worried this won't be the changing force many of us hoped for.
