if this was 3 rounds nick gets right back up and continues to piece up lawyer for the relatively easy win. he realized he didn’t have the cardio to go 5 rounds, however. so, the question is, why on earth was this a 5 round fight? who made that stupid and crooked decision jaja???
Nick may have won the first round. Robbie definitely won the second round. And he dropped Nick in the 3rd round. Robbie would have won the decision
I would have much rather have seen Nick lose another decision. Watching him quit and say he was done was heart breaking
all due respect, watch it again vegito. objectively. nick ate a few punches, but he definitely far outlanded robby in the first 2 rounds, and made him miss a ton. nick was literally piecing him up. now, even while nick was piecing him up, nick still looked like shit, and any objective observer had to worry about him, he was clearly low on the gas (as he should have been after out-throwing and out-landing lawyer for 2 straight rounds). but he could have easily completed and won the 3rd if it was a 3 round fight. it was 5, and he knew he could not non-gas in that 10 extra minutes of fighting. so, again, who made this a 5 round fight!!! was it a championship fight!!! i sure did not think it was! hmmm, much tomfoolery going on around that fight…

Nick was down on 1 scorecard and tied on the other 2. He got his ass whooped in the 3rd. He would’ve lost and if he would’ve stood up Robbie would’ve put it on him worse.
Robbie did to Nick what Nick does to everyone else. He crowded him and made him fight with his back to the fence. They both need to retire.

FFS, can we put this Diaz bros BS to rest now? Nick hasn’t won a fight in 10 years. Nate has a losing record over the same time. These dudes are pretty tough but they have nowhere near earned the respect and notoriety they have from their fans.

why is it any time one of the brother lose we have to start talking about changing the number of rounds? If he had 7 more rounds he would have beat him. Now if the fight was only this long, he would be unstoppable. They agree to the terms of the match and are expected to win in that time frame.

The UG’s hatred for the Diaz brothers is truly puzzling to me. The ufc wishes it had more fighters like them yet you guys hate them it makes no sense at all
Same thing for Conor. He elevated the sport to another level and puts on awesome fights he’s NEVER once been in a boring fight yet the majority of the UG hates him. MMA fans are fucking fickle lol
