Sorry for the FRAT
So I posted a thread a few weeks ago about flying to NY to drive my father-in-laws car from NY to GA, and was looking for a school to stop at half way down. I don't get to train as much as I would like, but this tip was the perfect oppurtunity with the wife and kids at home.
So Monday night I trained at Serra's new Huntington location. I got there about an hour early Danny Valle showed me around the new place. It is awesome 2 floors tons of space, great locker room and showers. Matt was there for a few minutes and got to talk with him for a bit. Did the nogi class w/ Danny who was a great instructor, he showed some nice guillitone variations, and did 7, 3 minute matches, got in some very good rolls. Everyone there was awesome and very friendly, it was a great experience. I thank everyone at Serra's for making my visit a great one, especially Shawn and Dennis.
I then drove to Rutherford, NJ and crashed at my brother-in laws. The next morning I drove to Christianburg, VA to Tim Mannon's TECH MMA. I had trouble finding it since they moved locations three times. But the space is huge. Full boxing ring, full cage, two mat areas, huge bag rack, it is a complete gym. Tim taught the class and went over snap down to taking the back w/ finishes. He also showed me a nice armbar variation. Just like Serra's everyone at Tim's school was awesome. Thanks to Justin and Scott. If you are in the area I highly reccommend it.
Crashed at Tim's house last night and then drove to Atlanta this morning.
Being a glutton for punishment I went to my home school Paul Creighton's this evening.
So 3 schools, 900 miles in 48 hours.
And yes "Cool story Bro"
