This stricture is the worse in this era and there incompetent judging. There milking this stupid broken record criteria needs a solution.

A similar situation happened in the nfl, a replacement ref during the lockout was a fan (of the saints i think?) and just had a picture of himself in a saints jersey on facebook, didn't know any players or even facebook friends, and he was removed from reffing the saints hours before the game. The NFL has their shit together though
Wearing a saints jersey before reffing a game of theirs is so way beyond being friends with someone on facebook.

I wasn't happy he judged that fight but I'm Facebook friends with an Enemy because he's oblivious to what kind of twat he is and when he friend reqested me I didn't want to cause a big drama fest cause he's a whiny bitch.
So I would be more pissed off if there was a pic of them together or something
And this is a great reason to keep your friends list on private.

I know gabriel personally, he loves the ug, he loves mma, and he is a FAN of the sport. i know for a fact that he holds his position as judge in the highest regard and would never want anyone, especially himself, to tarnish the validity of the sport. he trains bjj, and stand up. which is a lot more than other judges can say. maybe you don't agree with his decision, but he is most certainly not a biased judge.
I judge that is willing to step up and explain themselves and not hide is ok in my book even if I dont agree with the end result. If there is a track record like Cecil has however, banishment is the answer.
Half point scoring system. It could either help solve this, or make the judges look even more incompetent.

It has to be one or the other. If not bias, then I would hope he can recognize the flaw in his judgement and interpritation of the unified rules scoring and correct it.
It is not fair to fighters for judges to not know how to.properly score a round. In this case it is only one round, and it would not have altered the decision, but still.

So basically what you are saying is, based on his training there is no way he should have scored it 30-27. Because that's how I read it. It's one thing if Adelaide Bird would've scored it that way, but for someone who trains to do so is just bizzarro.
