Agreed. Davis won for sure but not that first round. Though it does make sense given judging precedent. Guys have won fights for swinging a lot even though they just miss and miss. Davis won round one for repeatedly failing to take Nog down I guess. No credit for defense.

Judges in MMA are probably the worse professionals in the US. Surely no one else is as bad at their job and remains employed. Clean house and fire them all.
Arecsa - Pathetic. Davis had all his takedowns stuffed and gets beaten on the feet and he gets the round, unbelievable.The UFC is ridiculous with judging. It seems that going for takedowns is the highest point generating move.
As a result... wrestlers will always get the nod, even if they are getting tooled during standup.
