3am in New York (UH vs Cinci)

So I stayed up to watch UH vs Cinci on ESPN. What a sad experience.

How the hell do you blow such a big lead? Unforgivable.

Rabello vs CCF in 3,2,1....

 here we go again :(

Bad teams find a way to lose. Hawaii choked big time.

bad teams find a way too lose?

no shit sherlock! But this "bad team" almost beat the team you said would run all over UH.

Yes UH choked but you still do what you do best. make yourself look like an idiot.

Almost is not good enough. Cincy giftwrapped a win for UH at home and then took it away from them. Don't be so bitter.

Pat, you should try to catch the new exciting brand of Warrior Basketball.

no fight at the end? boooooooo

Chris Clugston Fan - Pat, you should try to catch the new exciting brand of Warrior Basketball.

I actually took my dad - a former coach - to watch them a month back, right before I left. I spent the whole game restraining him because the bad play was driving him insane.

Weird thing about last night's football game is that I haven't cared about UH football in years...but I guess living so far away made it special to see them. Just sucks that it was such an unbelievably failure.

National TV + new coach + ranked BCS opponent = historic loss.

Yah Turdle,

i am bitter because UH totally fukt up that game, and Mac had a lot to do with it. i'm bitter cause i hate to see them lose.

But your bullshit is just laughable:

Turdle- "LOL at a "good shot" against Cincy. Yeah I see them lighting up the 10-2 Big East champs."

"almost" IS good enough to prove your an idiot, and i bet you were breathing a sigh of relief when Cincy came out on top.

Dipshit!

Watdafok?!

CCF...bro you are annoying. I've never met anyone that took so much pleasure in watching a team lose that they have absolute no connection with. It's not like you're from Provo or Fresno or something. Honestly, please tell me what your beef is with Hawaii Athletics? Are you bitter that UH used to Bitch Slap Tulsa in ALL SPORTS before they ran off to Conference USA? I'm serious, please give me an answer. It seems like you've made some pretty good friends in your time here...You have a job. Why do you get such pleasure out of Hawaii's defeats? I understand you like to stir the pot, and if that's the only reason that's cool...I'm just interested in finding out if you really passionately hate this place or you love just being "the bad guy"

As for the game, tough loss for UH...Cincy did not "gift wrap" that game by the way, UH Defense and Special Teams were much more physical. I talked with a Cincy offensive lineman that said UH was the "strongest" team physically they faced all year (and they played Oklahoma) Warrior offense just couldn't seal the deal and that's what happened. Should be fun this Christmas Eve. UH is in for a tough one though, 4 of ND's 6 losses, Irish held double-digit leads at one point in the game. They got good players, but much like UH have a hard time "finishing"

Rabello, you assume too much. I just call it like I see it. I think Florida is going to beat OU soundly and I am from Oklahoma. Florida is just a more complete team (defense, offense, special teams) and they are faster. Notre Dame vs Hawaii at Aloha stadium is a little tough to call. Weis needs to win it badly though. They did extend him a year but I think that was more for Urban Meyer fundraising. It is going to take an incredible effort to keep his job beyond next year. Losing this bowl game won't help.

Can't we all just get along?

Calling it like you see it? Bro, I've never seen you post anything after a UH win. If you did it was last season saying how you're not impressed with the win. But hey, I could be wrong.

Anyway, UH/ND should be a good one. A big reason why the Irish accepted the bid was 'cos Punahou Linebacker Manti Te'o is number-1 on the ND recruting wish list. I'm kind of feeling like be careful what you wish for though...You don't wanna be the team that Notre Dame ends the "streak" against. Irish haven't won a Bowl Game since 1993 (9 games) but it's always a good one when they come to town.

In 1991 UH lost 48-42 and in 1997 ND rallied for a 23-22 victory. Remember, that was when Holtz was coaching ND and they were legit. Should be fun but I'm excited to watch Golden Tate play...He's one of my favorite players in College Football. I guess you better be bad ass when you're name is Golden Tate. Man, he must have gotten heat as a high schooler for that one.

I can see why O lineman said that. OU (beat 52-26) is not a physical team defensively they just try to outscore you. It's going to cost them against Florida. OU is kind of like UH last year in a way.

I actually like OU's chances against Florida. Obviously I think The Gators should be the favorite but thee's NOTHING more important in College Football than an accurate Quarterback. Sam Bradford is one of the most accurate I have ever seen.

Who you think should win the Heisman?

Tim Tebow should win it. He took the team on his back in the biggest game off the season and won it. He is a great competitor and leader.

oh how sweet you guys talking and getting along! ;)

agreed. I can't believe someone with Bradford's numbers though isn't a run-away for this award though.

Florida will get stops on OU's offense. I don't think OU's defense can hold serve. They have never been the same on that side of the ball since Mike Stoops went to Arizona.
