Is there a DVD series out yet to compliment the email tutorials? I'd like to get my hands on it now that I'm almost dare I say 43!!!
The Over 40 DVD has been out for a while. I have it, and honestly, it is the best video series I have ever purchased. I'm a 43 yo brown belt, and was able to make several positive changes to my game as a result. Why? Very clear, detailed instruction, with good production, but more importantly, in depth discussion of concepts, which focus on "non attribute" games (i.e., at my age I'm rarely as fast or strong as the young competitors). I've made time, which is limited as I'm caring for my 1 & 3 yo boys, to re-watch the series: each time take something new from it.
FYI: I'm not affiliated with SBG or Stephen's gym. This is my unbiased review of 12 yrs in BJJ and owning a dozen tapes series over the years.
Can you post me the link where I can get it.. This is WHITTIER's DVD not Roy Harris's.
Thanks!
Whittier is good. real technical...

Hey, just saw this. Thanks very much guys.
For anyone checking this out...
In addition to the 40 Plus BJJ series and Ultimate BJJ Guard Passing DVD series (which I just released with Matt Thornton), the email instructional series is 100% FREE and there are currently about 115 lessons and growing.

I was going to take you seriously until I read that you have teamed up with Matt Thornton. I won't be buying the stuff. Thanks.
That's cool. But whatever your issue is with Matt it has nothing to do with the quality of the training or material.
We both have thousands of people on our lists of all belt levels who continue to get a ton of value from the instruction.

Sort of a weird response. Matt is one of the best instructors I have ever learned from. His approach is excellent.
What is it you don't like about him?

Lol. That's awesome.
Stephen Whittier teaming up with Matt Barvo! What a sell out! I read it on the internets!!!
Who is Matt Furey btw?
Lol. Awesome.
Matt(hew) Furey had some loyal followers until he teamed up with the Ghost of
Farmer Burns...
But let's not get off track here. I've been on Mr. Whittier's mailing list for months, and while I haven't pulled the trigger on his products yet, the free videos I have received have all contained rock solid material that reinforced or reminded me of vital Bjj techniques and concepts, or introduced me to new ones. He is using standard Internet Marketing method, but he isn't over the top about it, and he puts out a great product from what I can tell.
