401 players were drafted ahead of Pujols

15th round pick.

Arguably one of the most consistent and most impressive baseball players in history.

Wasn't Mark McGuire his hitting coach in St Louis?

Hired Gun - If Mark McGwire is your hitting coach does that mean you automatically take steroids? Are all of the Dodgers now taking steroids?

Zero evidence of this. Albert is a stand up guy. Always has been. He's the GOAT of our generation. His postseason stats alone show this. And this year he's gunna be healthy and go back to being one of the top hitters in baseball. Phone Post 3.0

^^^ 7th rd, there are only 7rds in a football draft

Come on, man. He was absolutely raking in the heart of the steroid era. Or was he just that much better than the now admitted juice heads?

It's the Lance Armstrong scenario. You expect us to believe that he was clean when he was the best hitter in a generation? A generation of juicers?

It's strange that his numbers fell off so badly once the league began testing.

Is he a great hitter? Of course. No doubt about it. Is his image tarnished now? Sure. Granted he's never tested dirty nor has been implicated in anything. But the fact that he was doing this in the dirtiest era of the game should make you seriously question him

Mark1 do you feel the same about Derek Jeter? Mike Trout? Miguel Cabrera? Are their images tarnished?

Do only hitters take steroids?

Puljols is very much NOT a steroid user. He is one of the players that is always willing to be tested with no notice and has always been verbal about that.

He is just a slugger and talented as fuck. Phone Post 3.0

If the Patriots scouts were so smart and knew how good Tom Brady was, they would have drafted him in the first round (or with their first pick).

Waiting for the sixth round just means they got lucky. They didn't think he was good enough for a fifth round pick.
