My 5 favourite active fighters in Pride and the UFC are as follows
UFC
1)GSP He is very exciteing to watch has great skills,never gets tired and will soon be the WW champ after he beats Hughes in November.Also a class act
2)BJ Penn.I think he is the most skilled fighter out there next to GSP.His only weakness is his cardio.Also love his layed back image.
3)Kenny Florian.I just like this guy.He proved everyone wrong when he went through Stout.Also he is fighting at 155Lbs and competed at tuf 1 at 185lbs.Great guy and he has an awesome gound game.He is going to have one hell of a battle though in Sherk.
4)Tito Ortiz.Kept the UFC exciteing for years.Was an awesome coach on TUF 3 and was great at pushing Kens buttons to keep the show exciteing.May not be the best anymore but he always makes you want to watch him fight.Either to see him win or hope to see him get his ass kicked.Maybe the best personality in the sport.
5)Chuck Liddell.Man is Chuck a wrecking machine.Hits like a hammer and has made the light heavyweight division look terrible because he is so far ahead of everyone right now.Always an exciteing knockout when he fights.Also seems like he's a great fighters for the fans.Always there to take a pic with whoever asks for it.
Pride
1)Cro Cop.Man this guy has to be the hardest hitting guy ever to step into the Pride ring.Made coleman look terrible.Destroyed the axe murderer.You could make a highlite real from just his fights and sell it for some big cash.Can't wait to see him fight Fedor again or come to UFC and beat the hell out of Chuck.
2)Shogun.Other then his fluke loss to Coleman he is going to be the best 205lbs fighter in Pride.He's better in every aspect of fighting then his training partner Silva.Can't wait to see him fight again and start ripping up the 205lbs division.He would be another great matchup for Liddell.
3)Fedor.Got to love this guy.Looks like he just woke up from a winter hibernation and just hops in the ring.He has completelly dominated the heavyweight division and in Pride that is no easy feat.I would love to see him fight Tim Silvia and show him why the heavyweight division in Pride is years ahead of the UFC.
4)The Axe Murderer.Man I never imagined how someone could hop in the ring and look like he was going to rip out his opponents heart and eat it in front of everyone.Wanderli looks evil and fights like he is a paroled killer and has to go back to isolation after the fight.He may be outclassed by a few guys but he has been one of the most exciteing guys to watch for years.Still can't believe he lost to Tito.
5)Josh Barnett.Looks like the pillsberry dough boy.I love his cut throat gesture after he wins.Very skilled guy and he shows you never judge a guy by how he looks.
