5Dimes Is Done With USA Customers

Skillrules -

From 5dimes directly:

5dimes is excited to announce that it is embarking on a new business venture. With the evolving legal landscape in the United States, we want to take advantage of the opporturnity to offer and improved online sports betting experience to our many U.S. customers. In order to do this, we need to temporarily suspend service of the U.S. market so that we can launch our new operations with a fresh start.

-----------------

It basically sounds like they are doing all the paperwork and setup to offer legal US sports betting. Of course in California, as big as a financial hole they are in, they STILL have not gotten around to legalizing it, wasting the opportunity of 100's of millions of dollars in potential tax revenue.

if they are going legal route, everyone would get money back for sure but not sure any us regulatory org would legalize someone who has been operating illegally for so long

Unless something has changed, they are paying out.

Certainly doesn’t look that way.

What do you base this statement on ?

They banned aussies a few months ago and paid them all out.

They have now told americans they are doing the same and to withdraw all money XYZ date.

online is such a scam.. wish I had a closer sports book casino near me... closest one about an hour away. I'd spend all my money there tho.. maybe a good thing.

A scam? So you've never won anything online i guess?

Not a scam, but definitely shady.  I remember cashing out my first Bovada winnings years ago and receiving a check for that amount from a fucking candle making company in the mail.  Didn't stop me from placing more bets but it made me pause for a second to think about my life choices up to that point.

when I say scam, they get you for having to bet a certain about of money before you can even cash out... the roll overs are insane... especially if you use a bonus.. you also get charged a fee if you cash out.. I've won a couple hundred online.. but never got to cash out due to the rules of roll overs and min cash out rules.

none of that happens at a casino

How is online betting a scam? It's amazing how no matter what subject you comment on you come off sounding like a moron.

I’ve gambled on 5dimes for about 2 decades. They’ve been an MMA Prop bettor’s paradise.

Does anyone else bet anywhere reputable that offers props such as win by sub/tko/round/will and won’t go distance?

Man every site in Australia offers props. Is nothing special imo

Basing on the fact that I haven’t been paid yet, neither has anyone else on any sports bet forums or reddit.

They were still taking bets up until last night, when they shut it down. I dont know what kind of volume they do, but I'm sure they are giving up a nice chunk of change on tonight's MNF.

it is crazy how it is difficult to bet in America

it is very common & readily available to any 18+ year old nearly everywhere else
