6 Max Sit and Go help ?

I do pretty well at the Party 10 seaters..

but im doing horribly at 6 max so far..

can anyone give some pointers ?

how does strategy change ?

lower starting hand requirements of course.. (i know phil gordon has a chart for this)

but when do you start opening up ? what blind level ?

how many do we wait to go out first before opening up ?

Open up when your stack is low compared to the blinds, IMO. Or when
you figure out who you can push around. Other than that I just sit back
and let them fuck themselves up.

I played in my first 6 person SnG(normally it's 9 players) and had the best run of cards ever.

Had KK (3 times). AA (twice). AK(once), 2 flushes and didn't lose any of those hands. The final hand I won with AJ vs AX.

The dude had an ax? Fuck, nice work.

Never underestimate the power of a well-thrown card

I don't think it's worth opening up when the blinds are small. At best I would limp with speculative hands, unless that's what you mean also.

I try just sitting back but it ends me being 3rd or 4th, ie not in the money.

Doing much better now. I had to adjust the starting hands and remember how position is adjusted. Cash games are still more profitable but these sng's are addictive. ITM 50% and ROI 30% for now
