Ramon Maroni - Damn
RIP
hard to believe its been 6 yrs
This. A friend of mine was good friends with Even as well, Ill never forget seeing him about a month after Even passed and asked how he was coping with his death. The look on his face will never be forgotten, it was the first he heard of it (the guy lived in the cuts and wasnt in constant contact with a lot of people, he just happened to be in town when I saw him).
RIP Evan
RIP to the coolest dude to ever step foot in the cage.

4de1 - Thanks Stickgrappler. Voted up.
Thank you, VU right back at ya
juicer - RIP. Thanks stickgrappler
No no, thank you juicer - we all keep Evan Tanner alive in our memories.

Round of VU's for everyone I missed earlier.
Wow, when I saw the thread title I thought it must be a mistake. Doesn't seem like 6 years at all.
I was following Evan's blog closely at that time, which made it that much more shocking and upsetting when the news hit. I don't usually feel a personal connection with celebrities or people I've only known online.
It still gets me down every year when the threads start popping up.
RIP
RIP To a great human being
AishOyyy -
He was before my time (being interested in MMA) but RIP. I see his name posted a lot still so he must have had a big impact in his short time. Thanks for bringing his story to my radar
This.
I never saw him fight until after he passed away, but I quickly realized how great of a guy he was by watching his videos and reading about what he did.
His documentary also touched my life pretty intensely.
Many praises to such a great person! A true warrior! WAR EVAN TANNER!
Such an inspirational guy, good job at keeping his ideas alive. RIP
Wow, that's about when I started watching MMA.
How about a sticky Kirik ?
