just watched the marathon on tbs--ralphie loses it on the bully, secures the takedown, and pounds him out, fedor style, from inside the guy's half guard. thought it worth mention. ralphie by tko, rd 1 50sec.
Lol, TTT
Suprisingly Scott Farkus looked pretty good stat wise. He had the size and height advantage and was known as a decent striker with decisive wins over local challengers... clearly he underestimated Ralphie's double leg entry and flurry..
Halphie has aura.
TH
Farkus went on to learn Jeet June Do. Think I remember seeing him on the front of some magazine.
ttt for a great thread about a classic
It's funny you bring that up!! I've referenced Ralphie quite a few times during my time on the forum, and told the story of the first fight I ever won on this thread last year......

The story is a few posts down on the first page.
Check out the mud namer with 70 posts......
That's funny stuff Brian!
lol
:)
Farkus talked a big game and had lots of confidence coming in, but Ralphie overcame his fear and really took the fight to Farkus. Good stoppage by the ref, imo. Decisive win for the smaller Ralphie.
just got back from seeing "king kong". i'd have to say that i think kong might take the match if he fought ralphie in the unlimited class. i don't see ralphie taking kong down, and we didn't get to see any guard work in "a christmas story".
brianmeyers, about to click on the link. thks for the read.
it was like 1984--i wonder if ralphie did his own fight choreography?
another classic line from the movie, "GO HOME, YOU MANGEY MUTTS! @#$#@"
If you look closely in the background you can see a young Joe Rogan
Rogan and Flick were giving the play-by-play!
good movie and thanks for the good read Brian
I don't know if you guys read the whole thread I linked, but there were actually some good and funny stories......
Ralphie Gracie, imo.
like i said, we've seen ralphie's gnp, but haven't seen any guard work yet, and i think santa would be a hard guy to take down. ralphie would make head elf his bitch though...
ttt
Little known fact that a young Chack was originally supposed to play the part of the bully....when Ralphy wanted to stand up to him all the kids were going to chant:
"He'll thumb your eye out...."
