As many of you know after exiting my senior editor position at CagePotato I started my own PR firm. My first major client is FundaFighter.com, a company that I firmly believe in. So far we've been successful in raising nearly $6000 to help offset Dan Miller's son's aftercare and prescription costs following his kidney transplant. We've also helped Joey Gambino raise more than $5000 to fly in his cornermen to Brazil for his UFC 153 bout.
In today's PR landscape your performance is measured in clicks, likes and follows.
I'm asking for a minute out of your day to support a company that supports the sport. It would help me out a great deal.

Props to you for what you do. If you ever have a fighter who wants to do a charity portrait or anything else involving MMA artwork, gimme a shout.

No worries. We don't want people to think their hard earned money is going to sports cars and 50-inch plasmas.
Joey set his goal at $1500, in spite of the fact that he knew the plane tickets and hotels would cost closer to $2700. Most of the pledges came from friends, family and his supporters from the regional circuit he came up in.
When he added an awesome incentive to his top Backer, courtesy of the FAF owners (who also own Tristar Dorms and Fight House Management) and Firas Zahabi, which included one-year free Tristar membership and a free stay at the dorms, a guy who sponsored an ammy fighter in Boston pledged over $1700 to ensure he's take the reward. So instead of paying the fighter cash, he's ensured that he will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train with some of the the best fighters in the world.
Joey is planning on re-investing the additional funds raised back into his living and training expenses. It's a win-win situation for everyone.
Hope that answers your query.

Thanks, brother. Might have some guys in mind who we'll be adding to the FAF family in the coming months.
Appreciate the support, from you and everyone.
Crooklyn - Bump for a fantastic cause.
My bad... brethren AND sistren. Crooklyn has been one of our biggest supporters and we owe her big time.
This is why the asian fighters get so badly screwed over, UFC only pay the hotel room for a few days before the event, so the fighters have to go out of pocket if they want to try and acclimatise themselves properly.
Done. Keep up the good work!
