Has Antony Flew ceased to be an atheist? In a sensationalist campaign in the internet, it is alleged that Professor Antony Flew, British philosopher, reputed rationalist, atheist and Honorary Associate of Rationalist International, has left atheism and decided that a god might exist. The controversy revolves around some remarks of Prof. Antony Flew that seems to allow different interpretations. Has Antony Flew ever asserted that "probably God exists"? It's very interesting that the Rationalist International dates that article "December, 2004" when the article was penned in 2001 (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-1400368,00.html).

The Secular Web carries the exact same article you cite to, but includes this editorial note:

"[Editor's note: This article no longer represents Flew's current position. For the most recent information, see Antony Flew Considers God...Sort Of.]"

So much for the intellectual integrity of the Rationalist International, I guess. Or was it your own that was sacrificed?

Frankly, I'd never even heard of Flew up untill last week, One of the guys who teaches the Bible at my church sent me the article. I thought I'd post it.
