Although I really don't want to touch this situation with a ten foot pole, I told my instructor Pedro Valente I would post this message here. I am re-typing this off of a letter written and signed by Emilio Delgado and delivered to Gracie Miami yesterday, he wrote it in an effort to try and clear his name and to be able to continue training at our academy, here it is:
"My name is Emilio (Thunder) Delgado. I would like to start off by saying that I have never posted anything in the U.G. forum or any other forum for that matter. The things written that I was made aware of, I have asked to be removed. I would like to apologize to anyone offended by any of these posts that were written by unkown person or persons using my name.
I would like to make clear that I was never a member of the Carlson Gracie team, and I have never fought in Pride. I have no desire to fight professionally in any mma sporting events. Again, anyone who has posted here or e-mailed people in my name are impostors. Although I do apologize to those offended, I am sure you can understand my situation. I don't go on these sites and I don't know any of you, I am only writing this to clear my name, something I should have done weeks ago."

As a side note, I don't especially like this guy or the company he keeps, but I beleive that he was not the one making those posts, I'll leave it at that.
what the hell is going on? is there a person named emilio delgado that trains with manny reyes? did this emilio delgado sign a contract to fight wade rome?
by the way, it would be funny to see how a white belt would do against an expert grappler like wade rome. it would be like me vs. my neighbor's four year old girl.
I just want to say that I am not sure that Manny's posts were not from the real Manny Reyes, and according to Delgado, the Hermes/Reyes fight is still on if anyone cares.
it must of been manny hyping up the guy who taught him what an armbar is.more than likely it was manny who sent wade rome those emails also.either manny or charles uz if he even exist..but manny admitted on blackandbluevideo.com that he was going around sending vulgar emails to many fighters such as brennan,wander braga and a couple more..delgado will be in manny's corner so i wonder what's going to happen with wade??
SD Jones, how does brennan fit in all of the Manny mess? Chris would murder Manny and I think Chris is 15 or 20 pounds heavier anyhow. Chris is a high caliber fighter who competes in Pride, how can you justify Manny's Point Karate skills against Chris Brennan?
Interesting, his 'posts' on here did seem to me like total bs. It struck me that he was just joking around,but it surprised me that someone would intentionally make a jackass of themselves like that, which made me wonder if it wasn't just some shitmouthed kid using his name. His and Manny's post smacked of so much joking and bs-ing that I nver really took either one seriously until it was confirmed that Manny is actually supposed to fight Hermes. I'm still of the mind that I'll believe it only after the first blow is struck.
The lordsko.com site has Delgado listed as the heavy weight MMA champ... I bet he went to Gracie Miami and got tooled, he then realized that he is gonna get his ass kicked and now he is pulling out...
Didn't Manny Reyes (who I assume was confirmed to be real by Kirik to get a green name) support the Delgado who was posting here? And didn't Reyes piss off ATT enough to get Hermes to basically fight for free?
I believe that Manny was posting under Thunders name. On the black and blue forum I pointed out how Manny and Thunder spell the same words wrong. Needless to say the thread was deleted before anyone got to read it. Mannys buddy who runs that sight reads all the posts before he puts them on the site.
