A non-title fight ever been above a title fight?

It seems that Connor v Nate is sticking the main ahead of Holm v Tate for the World title.

Has this ever happened before for a legit World Champ strap? (Not counting Bellator, Strikeforce, One, etc as they're not really world titles). Did it happen in Pride?

Serious question. Phone Post 3.0

Well, McGregor vs. Mendes wasn't REALLY a title fight, and it was above Lawler vs. MacDonald.
