Regardless of how well Kimbo does on the show, I think many hardcore fans who've criticized him from the beginning will become fans. Kimbo has always come across as humble and eager to learn. I imagine there will be some sentimental moments when he chats with the other guys about the pressure he had hanging over him from EliteXC and his own awareness that he was nowhere near ready for what was thrown at him.
Should we feel bad? No.
But I bet he agrees with the critiques of his abilities and the fact that he was hyped up way too quickly. His honesty and dedication to improve will win over a bunch of his detractors.
It's ez to be a fan of Kimbo .....just not Kimbo the professional fighter. Guy made serious paper and became an internet celebrity sensation. Win or lose he is a sucess story if he doesnt piss away the money he has already made...

Maybe nobody cares, but I bet it'll be true. People love fighters who have humility and heart. I think Kimbo has both. He gutted out a tough battle with Thompson that he probably would have lost. Bas praised his work ethic.
