FightExpert - Dude, I wasnt talking about "fight dynamics" or some other stuff that you just made up out of your ass to sound smart.
Funny how you make stupid claims about 99% of the forum, when you have obvious problems with comprehension.
TUF noob.
By fight dynamics I refer to different fighters body types/fight styles/foot work, and everything else that can critically change the outcome of a fight. But since dynamics seem to be a way too difficult word for you to comprehend, I will use a simpler term in future reference to you...Mr Fight Expert.
I am not sure what stupid claims you mean, because I have plenty of stupid claims about people on this forum. As does every other long time visitor.
I actually laughed a bit when you called me noob. I've been training and fighting since I was 14 years old, I am 23 now and going pro next year. I have had long discussions with many legends in our beautiful sport, most of them agreeing on every point I make. You are talking to a fan of the era when Pele was playing soccer with peoples head in the ring, and when the term MMA wasn't even founded yet. And i've been frequenting this board since 2000 when royce and everyone else used to post once in a while. So get your TUF keyboard warrior ass out of here.
By the way...if you think my comprehension in the english language (which is my third language by the way) is too bad. I would really love to test your reading comprehension in Swedish or maybe Farsi? Any more verbal raping or are we done here?

Are you trolling or just drunk/high by some chance ? Did you read the thread title at least ? It has nothing to do with "fight dynamics". If you feel like discussing your theory with someone , just open a new thread . Otherwise, 99% of the people here just shaking their head reading your nonsense. Its not even a verbal raping, its self ownage, you're doing all the work by yourself.
Who has Silva beaten that was of his caliber? I'm a huge fan of Anderson but really he has yet to be tested against fighters his caliber (Fedor - Nog; Fedor - Crocop; etc..)
Bringing up fluke losses that happened a long time ago before either Anderson or GSP hit their stride certainly simplifies the discussion but it isn't that meaningful from the standpoint of who brings the most skills to the table today. GSP is certainly the most well rounded of the three in terms of overall skill with outstanding wrestling and top game (but no real knockout power). Anderson is clearly the most devastating striker with solid BJJ and very little wrestling. Fedor is pretty good at everything and always finds a way to win (he seems to have a more intrinsic quality than the other fighters). Having said all that, pound for pound discussions will always be an exercise in futility because these guys aren't the same weight and even if they do fight it doesn't prove much.

I was not responding to the OP. I was respond to this Nostradamus statement by yourself: "But GSP with his humiliating loss to Serra and controversial wins via greasing has nothing on Fedor."
My point is; There is no way in hell you know who will beat who, judging by their past performances. Do you 'comprehend' this?
dabigchet - i think the P4P debate between fedor and anderson is easy, because there isn't all that much size difference. fedor could easily make 205.
let's say, hypothetically, they fought at 205 pounds. who would you bet on in that fight?
i am betting on silva.
the GSP discussion is more theoritical.
Respect for putting emphasis on the fact that you are asking a hypothetical question. Not thinking a hypothetical match-up is a straight up fact like some other people on this board.
mmasam - Who has Silva beaten that was of his caliber? I'm a huge fan of Anderson but really he has yet to be tested against fighters his caliber (Fedor - Nog; Fedor - Crocop; etc..)
God I hope you're joking. You do realize he beat Henderson not long ago right? He destroyed the MW champ at the time Franklin, who beat Vanderlei so I'm guessing he's pretty good. I could list everyone, but there's no point, making a statement like that shows you have no idea what you're talking about.
HubertCumberdale - Fedor has beaten maybe 4 top 20 fighters? GSP has beaten around 10 top twenty.
Another fact on the lack of depth and athleticism in the MMA heavyweight division. What other high level athlete has a beer gut like Roy Nelson's?
wrong
nog, cro cop, schilt, sylvia, herring, arlvoski, rogers, coleman, randleman (not sure, but he did KO cro cop before so he probably was top 10) were all top 10 HW"s when fedor beat them.
Anderson has fought at least four top 10 fighters, three of those top 5 or top 3, and the most any has been able to do has been to get a takedown. None have shown the slightest sign of being able to hurt him, standing or on the ground, or put him in any hint of danger, standing or on the ground.
