The Abu Dhabi JiuJitsu Pro Trials is coming to San Antonio this November 26 & 27. This event is not your average tournament. It will be one of the best ran and best organized tournaments ever to come to San Antonio.
Several Prizes will be given away to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Seven (7) winners of select divisions will win an all expenses paid trip to Abu Dhabi to compete in the World Professional Jiu Jitsu Cup on April 13-15, 2012. This is the last trial scheduled for the USA this year. The trials are an option for athletes not wishing to spend money on airfare, food and board.
The San Antonio Trial will feature several divisions including categories for Adult Men and Women, Seniors, Juniors (10-12yrs), Teens (13-15yrs) and Juvenile (16-17yrs). To register or to find out more information about the divisions, weight classes, venue, etc. visit the website below.

When is the deadline to register I couldn't find it on the website? 
blue belts win a all expense paid trip but the Black belt division winners do not? I don't understand this.

GBEmilio - Deadline for registration will be Nov 20th at midnight so that brackets and listings can be posted prior to competition. Early Bird registration special ends tonight at midnight.
ringwerm - The free trips to Abu Dhabi is for the Absolute Winners for the Adult and Women divisions. There are two trips for the blue belt (under 163 and over 163) due to the number of competitors for that rank. This all is determined by the www.uaejj.com and not by the event promoter.
However, thanks to the promoter cash prizes are being paid to the following:
Brown/Black belts $1000 USD for the winner of the following divisions: -143lbs, -163lbs, -183lbs, - 202lbs, Over 203lbs
Ladies purple/brown/black belts $1000 USD for the winner of the following divisions: Under 140lbs and Over 140lbs
A Grand Cash Prize of $1500 USD will be awarded to the Brown/Black belt Absolute Division Winner.
Oh... and it is a 4 star event because it is the first time it is being held in San Antonio. It will be 5 star next year. Be warned ;)

NY Trials were cancelled due to conflicting dates with other area tournaments is what I was told. Sergio Correa who is running the San Antonio Trails and also the Mexico Trials was asked recently to try to put together a NY Trial possibly in Feb 2012. He has just started working coordination on that project and has not determined if or when that will happen.
Due to several requests registration for the Abu Dhabi Pro Trials San Antonio have been EXTENDED until Wednesday, Nov 23rd at noon (Central time). Please share with all.
