Just got word that 2 of the head referees from ADCC are coming to oversee the ADCC Canadian qualifiers. Also we will be hosting a rules clinic for the ADCC after Saturdays Abu Dhabi Pro tournament. More info to come

One, what time do each of the events start? Any idea when each division starts?
Two, if the NA trials are open, then winning here means what, that your entry fee is paid? Or is the winner seated in the NA trials?

-10am is the start time. There will be a brief rules explanation untill 10:30 than we will begin. Especially where the ADCC rules are concerned

Two, if the NA trials are open, then winning here means what, that your entry fee is paid? Or is the winner seated in the NA trials?
-From our understanding the NA trials ARE NOT OPEN, and winning a spot also gets you on as a standby or alternate for the actual ADCC Worlds. This is the actual first event for the ADCC 2011. We are bringing up two of the ADCC head refs from Europe for this event as they want to help make ADCC grappling tournaments a regular series of tournaments that are done worldwide.

I would just like to also say, that the opportunity to do both of these events was presented to us almost a year ago. We felt that it would be an amazing opportunity to help 2 of the biggest organizations in BJJ and Grappling, get regular events here in Canada. The promotion of the sport is our number one priority, and that is why we jumped on the opportunity to be apart of this. We thank everyone for all the positive support for these events thus far and cant wait untill this weekend where we will see some amazing matches!
