Anyone know results on this? These trials seemed to get lost in the shuffle with San Diego going on at the same time....
I know I lost in the finals :(
I would also like to know the results.
i know Lepri, Leite, Malfacine, and Cyborg won.
Tussa won under 202
HoldYerGround - I know I lost in the finals :(Which finals? Your division or the absolute?
Leite lost in SD and then immediately flew to NY to win his division? That's gangsta
shermbe - i know Lepri, Leite, Malfacine, and Cyborg won.yup and tussa won his division
Any lower belt results ?
MG's not fightin'?
holy hell the guy in that video got blocked.
Synado - Most guys are preparing for Pan Ams and trying to keep healthy for that. They are probably banking on winning the ADCC trials in NJ (or elsewhere). All USA trials are done. Plus if Marcelo wanted to compete I'm 100% sure he would get an invite. I believe others in the past for the Abu Dhabi Pro received invites as well
Bionik Careca - Any lower belt results ?pretty sure Michael liera won purple belt. I was surprised to see him there.
SleepBomb - var so = new SWFObject("http://www.youtube.com/v/3ziwPChdJwg", "postVideo-38509296-Flash", "425", "355", "9.0.28", "##000"); so.addParam("allowScriptAccess", "samedomain"); so.addParam("allowNetworking", "internal"); so.addParam("wmode", "transparent"); so.write("postVideo-38509296"); lucas beating down jordonGood bye and best regards from alliance

Yeah... I kind of left that part out. How did you end up doing?
Unfortunately, I lost my match 2-0...not sure how the other guy got 2 points (I don't have any video also to check out this time around). But he did well, I was playing an over/under passing game, we had some scrambles, he was working de la riva/berimbolo to which I was defending well. With about 1 min left he was fighitng for my back but never got it. He did well and deserved the win. Not sure if they gave him sweep points or not...was pretty even...wasn't my day. I have a bunch of comps lined up so, it's on to the next.
The 1st trials for ADCC 2013 will be May 19th in NYC!
Unlike the World Pro, you cannot just show up to the ADCC worlds to compete, you must be invited or win 1 of the 2 North American Championships (trials)
Go to www.adccna.com for more info

The North American trials on May 19th- is this an invite only, or can anyone compete in the Expert division?
Also, am I right to assume that this will be the only North American trial for 2012, and you will have another in 2013?
Thanks!!
cardio - MG's not fightin'?
He mentioned on MGinaction the other day that he recently injured his collarbone.
The North American Championship is for Experts (3 years grappling or more experience only) it is open registration. This will be the only one in 2012. There will be another one in 2012. We did the same thing last time. There was one championship in New Jersey 2010, than one in San Diego in 2011. Both winners get spots.
My comment about invite only is referring to the world championships. Anyone is allowed to enter the Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships this April. All you need to do is show up and you can compete. The trials are offering fleights for winners but it is not closed for trial winners only. Whereas with the ADCC, if you didn't win the championship (trial) or you didn't get an invite, you cannot just show up to compete at the worlds
