So Im in college and always had trouble focusing in class in highschool. But now when I'm taking hour long classes where they just talk I get like 10% of what they say. I hear that adderrall or stuff is helpful but i dont want my doctor to think I just want to get like high. Any suggestions?
Have you looked in to nootrpics? I take an alpha gpc,l theanine and noopept stack that helps short term memory and focus. The stuff is easily accessible and you don't need a rx for it.
Are you healthy/in good shape?
Fuck that adderrall shit....it's legal cocaine and makes you feel like absolute dogshit the next day
Just tell you doctor exactly what you just wrote, that is why it was developed. Unless you ask, how will he know what you need? On a side note, it is strong stuff, your appetite will go to sh*t, you will have a constant elevated heart rate, you will have sleeping issues, it can lead to high blood pressure and anxiety, shakey hands and mood swings to name a few of the many side effects. Definitely don't abuse it, it's very powerful and not to be played with imo.
Stu Cazzo - Are you healthy/in good shape? Not if you need it, my wife takes it and gets no buzz, she also eats regularly as well as sleeps normally. Some folks prefer Vyvanse, depends the person.

Drugs, Drugs, Drugs.
Which are good which are bad?
Drugs, Drugs, Drugs.
Ask your Mom, Ask your Dad!
My daughter is in college and has a prescription.
She was having difficulties in her very large classes due to being distracted. She's always been sort of obsessed with other people's noises distracting her. From childhood on, if the family was together watching TV, she was likely to complain about somebody's breathing being too loud or their foot is moving, etc. She also was a bit OCD about things in general.
Anyway, she went twice to the campus health service and they finally referred her to the group on campus that deals with disabilities. She took some tests, etc. They ended up giving her the prescription AND they give her an allowance to take her tests by her self in a room with ear phones on.
Hope that helps - I bet your university has a similar deal set up.
Consulting a doctor > asking the OG.
Vyvanse > Adderall
MickColins - Consulting a doctor > asking the OG.Asking a mentally retarded chimp > asking the OG.

Mencken -This. I've been taking Vyvanse for the last two years and have never been more focused/efficient in my life.
Vyvanse > Adderall

Vyvanse > Adderall
Yep, provides the same quality of focus as Adderall without the same stimulant effect. I think it's vastly superior.
Stu Cazzo - Are you healthy/in good shape?Whuuuuut

in
Vyvanse is the modern adderall. adderall is no longer prescribed because vyvanse has been prescribed 20x as much in last 4 years
stronger with less side effects that cant be taken any way except orally.
Vyvanse is a time release version of Dexedrine.. releases the amphetamines over time in ur body so ur good throughout the day rather than a couple hours and bad crash like adderall.
vyvanse will cost u like 200$ for months supply tho
have fun!
Stu Cazzo - Are you healthy/in good shape?its speed.

pharmaceutical meth basically. more dangerous than cocaine when abused. so ur comparison makes it look less as bad actually
ppl abuse cocaine tho. ppl take amphetamines like vyvanse and adderall for medical reasons
but then again if u see requiem for a dream u can see how easy it is to abuse adhd meds like the mom in that movie who took em for weight loss.

Trifive - I love made up "conditions" like not being able to pay attention. Seriously? Are you trying to be cool or something?
