Since the judging decisions have been very controversial lately, maybe having a device that detects the crowds vote by how loud they cheer would help. This way majority of the fans would have an input if it goes the scorecards. I know it's not perfect but seems like a viable solution to experiment with?

They couldn't be worse than the judges now. Plus it's not always about winning that matters, it's who the crowd wants to see.
Hire qualified people who aren't Politically connected=Problem Solved. You will still have decisions that some people won't like or agree with, but, the "WTF were they looking at?" factor will go down considerably.
Maybe adding an audience feature to vote with texting and online.

Another judge might not be good. If 2 people score it for one and the same for the other fighter that's a draw. IT would have to be 5 judges if they were to add more imo but that gives the chance of there being more than 1 idiot judging the fight
But for the fan idea that's just dumb
Nevada would just bring in more idiot boxing judges, more isn't necessarily better.
The UFC needs to boycott Nevada for it's judging and fans until shit changes.
Take revenue away from a local government, thats the only way you hurt them and get their attention.
It isn't asif the UFC doesn't have almost the entire planet to find replacement sites to Nevada
Adding a fourth judge is a bad idea. Four judges the chances for a draw goes way up.
