Canadian boxer Adonis Stevenson has "gone from critical to stable" but remains in an induced coma after being knocked out in a title fight, his promoter has said.
Stevenson Adonis, best known as Adonis Stevenson, was a Haitian Canadian professional boxer. He held the WBC and lineal light-heavyweight titles from 2013 to 2018, and previously the Ring magazine light-heavyweight title from 2013 to 2015.
Ooof. Before this fight I thought "How old is he? He's been around forever". Looked it up and he is 41. That's pretty God damn old to be fighting at that level.
Hate to see a guy go out like that. Hopefully he can make a full recovery.

He had his pro debut in his 30s iirc so hasn't been fighting as long as you think
