There were people who sent thousands of dollars to a Donald Trump campaign. It doesn't have to make sense.

Guys the biggest fuckin waste of talent, and the biggest waster full stop, in modern boxing

This, probably very gifted as athlete, but he couldn’t control fame, and it was only a downfall

I always thought that Broner was highly overrated. I sued him on behalf of a client a few years ago back when Broner was still undefeated and I was concerned the whole time that he would get beat by the first world fighter that he fought and would be broke before I could collect on the judgment.

In predictable fashion, Broner proceeded to get his ass kicked by Marcos Maidana, Shawn Porter, Mikey GarcĂa and Manny Pacquiao, but thankfully I was able to finally collect on the judgment from his purse proceeds when he fought Manny while attending the fight in person and watching him get his ass thoroughly beat.

He’s not a wasted talent , the guy was never really that good ....even if he wasn’t cocky and dedicated himself to his craft, he still would’ve lost to all of the best of his time ....I guess he could’ve made millions by losing to some of the best boxing stars , kind of how Miguel Cotto did it

Agreed, but Cotto was 10 times the fighter that Broner ever was.

That was always his A low volume counter puncher who only came forward when he had you hurt or a significant size advantage.

I'll watch the Can Man run it back. The guy should've been a stand up comedian I reckon. He's hilarious

Cotto beat Shane Mosley, Zab Judab, Carlos Quintana, Carlos Maussa, Kelson Pinto, Ricardo Torres, Paulie Malinaggi, Randell Bailey and a lot of other very tough fighters before the 1st Margarito fight. That fight ruined Cotto physically and mentally as a fighter. That was a bad beating that crushed Cotto's confidence. Cotto was very mucb damaged goods for a couple of years. He was lethargic vs Clottey and wasn't really recovered enough emotionally to be ready for the Pacquiao fight. When he returned after the loss to Manny he beat the very awkward Yuri Foreman and then Mayorga. That set up the rematch with Margarito. He had gotten some confidence back by then. While he was slowing down late (like he always did) he gave Magarito a bad enough beating closing shut his already damaged eye.

That win boosted his confidence and he next gave Floyd a pretty close fight losing by a decision where the judges had it far too one sided. Cotto the to a naturally bigger and very good Austin Trout who was in his prime and a very bad for Cotto. Cotto still came back to beat Sergio Martinez for the 160lbs belt. He won a couple other fights before losing the decision in a fairly close fight with Canelo. Cotto had a much greater career than Broner. Broner doesn't have one win on his resume that would make Cotto's top 10. Cotfo broke an undefeated Paulie's jaw. Broner won a very close and debatable decision over Paulie. Broners best win is either Ponce DeLeon, Paulie or Demarco. Don't compare him at all to Cotto. They are levels apart.
