I've for mice in my house and need to get rid of them. Anyone have good ideas? What's most effective?
Thanks!
cat, terrier or ferret.

That looks is that peanut butter on the can? This seems clever
that bucket trap looks awesome
but what is the green liquid?
it's people?
I used an electric trap before when I had mice. Its battery powered, they walk in and get zapped. Quick death and no mess. The light will even tell you when you got one. Little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper, cook in a hot pan for 2 mins a side. You're welcome.
Don't bother getting a cat unless it was a female that was raised mostly outdoors.
Your typical house raised kittens will toy with small animals, but not necessarily kill them.
My wife has three cats, the oldest is completely useless. The two younger ones are sisters that had a feral mother when they were found as kittens. They're the killers. One managed to stalk and kill a small copperhead that got into my garage. She ate half of it before I found her with it.
Don't use poison, use traps.
I used glue traps, I know it's not the most humane thing but after find pieces of mice left in snap traps and trails of blood in my basement I didn't care much for the humane aspect anymore.
green liquid = antifreeze?

glue traps are humane unless you throw them out still alive.
just smash them in the head with a hammer for a quick and painless death.
Get some cats. But then you have a cat problem so you'll have to get some dogs to get rid of the cats. But then you have a dog problem so you'll have to get some Koreans to get rid of the dogs. I think you see where this is going and in the end, you're never gonna get rid of the Russians, they're too tough and will survive anything. So just put up with the mice.
I'm a pro. Use the wooden snap traps. Put 2-4 in a row with the trigger against the wall. Use peanut butter (or whatever they're eating) as bait. Move frequently. If its a corner, put two on each side of it. If inside corner, mice will "cut the corner". If its am outside corner, they'll "hug" the corner. Use steel wool or copper hardware cloth to seal entry points AFTER you've caught a good amount. Common entry points are plumbing, electrical and HVAC points.
Don't waste money/time on cats. Also mice can climb vertically. Entry points can be high or low.
Agreed with the traps and a quick head shot.
In my old college house we had a problem with mice getting into the kitchen, so one night I dumped a pile of bisquik on the kitchen floor and posted up in an adjacent room with my pellet gun. Got four of the fuckers.
Post signs that say "No Mice Allowed"
Make sure to also do it in Spanish, in case they are Mexican.

I heard that mice cannot see red light. I heard about a guy that did the same as you but he mounted a red light on his bb gun to see his target better.
