After Maia submits Marquarter then TKO's Silva

will you all believe in jiu jitsu again?

Maia is going to submit Marfart in the 2nd round after a little GNP which is carefully defended. Then he is going to shock the world and GNP Anderson Silva into a living death.

Marquarter????? Who the fuck is that

I refuse to even come close to spelling his name correct, MarTWAT!

Maia will be exposed as another Brazilian hoping to become champ by STILL using the Royce Gracie approach to MMA.

Future MW Champ. I hope we don't have to sub Hendo and Franklin too to prove he deserves the belt, but we will if we need to.

 Marquardt by MMA.

I still like Demian though.  It seemed I was the only person in the building that was cheering for him (or even had heard of him) at UFC 83 when he fought Ed Herman.

Maia drags it down somehow, there's always a way

I actually think he may sub Nate shockingly fast, eg. round 1 a la the Nate Quarry sub or when Ken Flo subbed Stevenson

lol ... hmb is as delusional as CRE.

lulz.

no one would believe it would beat Anderson Silva right now but I know thats his downfall. Demian is coming for him.

Might be onto something here.

oh, fren; you need to believe!

When you get to the elites of the elite, fights go to the ground, and ground game beats striking again. Royce was not an elite. Why do you think Rickson is still the man, and Fedor finishes almost all his fights on the ground?

Alright, the jig is up.

Meerkat has a serious striking and experience edge here and he's no joke on the ground. If Marketer can use his strength to push off and keep his distance from Maia he should win fairly easy but it's certainly Mercator's fight to lose. Maia can make a few mistakes and still win (if his chin holds up) but on the ground he only needs one mistake from Mechwarrior.

^^^, yes. adrenaline fuels mistakes. markitten's ego will not be in check. demian's will.

I'm pulling for Maia but you might be underestimating Melkor.

I've heard the guy is a machine but if Maia makes it through him, I honestly think subbing Anderson would be a cake walk for the guy. Styles make fights, and thats just bad for Anderson.
