Agree with MMAWEEKLY statement????

Just curios...Read this on the MMAWEEKLY website. Not sure I have formed a opinion yet about the REF standing up the fighters...I gotta watch the fight again...

""""""Sherk and Florian would almost have to meet again at some point down the road after questionable decision making by the referee, who almost never stood the fight up during the down moments when the action was lacking on the ground.""""""

Sherk was always working, either trying to pass the guard or punching. To the contrary I thought the referee stood them up prematurely at the end of the 3d round, while Sherk was still elbowing Florian.

I though Kenny did pretty good. I did not expect it to go the distance. I thought Sherk wouuld get a fairly quick GNP TKO. Props to Kenny for hanging in there. I'm not sure if there is anyone at 155 that can handle Sherks strength, maybe Stevenson but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

fight should have been stopped on a cut

fight should have been stopped on a cut

why no danger to sherk? isn't that why they stop fights, if it puts the fighter in danger or perm. injuiry... not just cause someone throws elbows and they get cut. I've never seen so many people calling for a fight to be stopped by cut... why would you want that to happen?

Sherk was very active.. they probly could have stood it up one or two more times, but it wasnt horrible or anything

Kenny has no business fighting Sherk again. Forget about it.

I don't know what fight they were watching. Sherk was extremely agressive on top. I think most of the standups were bullshit, as Sherk was working agressive nearly the entire time.

I honestly thought it should have been stood up more and I was rooting for Sherk but he really didn't do as much as I thought he would while on the ground.

Kenny looked terrible in the fight. He was heavily outclassed.

Sherk, meanwhile, looked boring and content to lay n pray at times, and unable to finish a fight.

I hope Sherk loses the belt to someone more exciting soon.
