For years all we have ever seen is the stoned face killer that is Jose Aldo. No one has talked shit or tried to get into Aldo's head like McGregor has.
It feels like we are finally getting to know who Jose really is in these Embedded videos. He seems like a laid back guy with a great sense of humor.
Conor Mcgregor is to Jose Aldo what Chael Sonnen was to Anderson Silva. I'm happy that this fight is raising the profiles of both fighters. I haven't been this excited for a fight in a long time.
Win or lose, this fight will finally bring attention to casual fans how great a fighter Jose Aldo really is.
Couldn't agree more, Jose was my favourite fighter when Conor was still in cage warriors and he didn't get enough love then outside of Brazil. I'm Irish and a lot of friends train down in sbg so it's hard for me not to root for Conor but definitely glad that they're both getting paid. Hope they can turn it into a rivalry for the ages with a few close fights. 
Conor is great at marketing fights. Jose is caught up in the McGregor hype. It's been good for him.

pretty sad IMO, that one of the greatest UFC champs ever, finally became relevant because of someone else, and not his accomplishments in the ring

The UFC is really bad at marketing their fighters unless the fighter is able to market themselves, at which point they shove him/her down our throat.
