Yessssss
look how quickly things move when conor isn't tying up the division
If Aldo wins this, he's right back in GOAT discussions. Can't wait, love em both
Awesome.
disbeliever - war aldo
.
Such a great fight. I was picking Aldo to win in a close fight but after seeing Max outclass Pettis like that I don't even know anymore.
Dreville79 -Even if he loses his run at 145 is one of the best ever.If Aldo wins this, he's right back in GOAT discussions. Can't wait, love em both
This will be an epic fight, foty potential for sure

If Aldo went up to LW and beat mcgregor , he would be in goat discussion
Max denied agreeing to the fight (yet) on the MMA Hour. He said he wants a meeting with Dana and the new owners first, so they can talk business, i.e. how much he'll be paid.

Everyone breaks down eventually.
This. Aldo's run is matched by very few.

Both fighters should get paid big bucks for this fight or they should not fight. (they deserve red panty nights)
Really tough to call. Aldo for me takes this - he does exactly what Pettis found difficult to do - counter punch on the backfoot and pivot and move - he also destroys that front leg. But Max is on fire - very tough - saying that though my money is on Aldo by a dominant decision

There's the Aldo injury jinx post. damnitt.

Mac landed a good punch, and has run Aldo at every chance since.
Aldo has a proven track record of title defenses, how many titles has Mac defended?
Aldo begged to fight for the 155 title, they didn't let him, or he would've had 2 belts, and defended them both.

Aldo is the GOAT FW by far, #2 is Faber. Conor probably would've easily demolished their records at FW but he simply didn't and most likely will never go back. Max on the other hand has a stupid record already and if he can actually beat Aldo and Edgar, he will surpass Aldo's legacy IMO.
*If he beats Aldo and Edgar, I'm saying he will rule the division with ease after that and break all the records, not that he would instantly be in the position.
Great fight.
I'd love Aldo to get active again, so I'm encouraged by him agreeing to this fight. Sounds like Max might be the sticking point this time, though, which is an interesting juxtaposition. His hash tag comments will fly in his face if he doesn't accept.

So you're ignoring Aldo turning down the initial offer for a McGregor rematch?
