I see what you are saying and I agree.
Its just that I am getting sick of the WEC because thay are basically the little guys fed at this point.
And I think guys like Torres and Brown have the talent to move up in weight and fight in strikeforce or Dream or UFC.

They both still have quite a few very worthy contenders.
Browns only had 2 title defences and you act like hes cleaned out the division.
Fabiano, Assuncao and Aldo both deserve fights with him
Torres only has 3 title defences
Curran, Benavidez, Tamura etc.. would all make good fights.
They both have a lot of tlaent but they both also have a lot of challengers.
Both divisions are stacked, either you dont like great MMA or your trolling

i suspect benavidez cruz will be the number 1 contenders match, and tamuras ahead of Curran to. But if he beats Mizugaki he will put himself back in the picture. Yahya would also be a suitable contender

Why don't Torres and Brown move up in weight? Well...there's a reason why there are weight classes. It's because size does matter when it's a fight between two world-class fighters. And as much skill as Brown and Torres might have, I think the size/strength deficit would limit their potential.
So if you want the two champs to leave their respective divisions, does that mean you think there's no point in having the 135 and 145 divisions around? Or is it just that you want Brown and Faber in the UFC?
Personally, I think that all WEC divisions should be drawn into the UFC fold. I know it's not gonna happen anytime soon, but it would give guys like Brown, Torres, Aldo, Fabianno, etc. more exposure and more money.
