Short sighted and another example of UFC dropping the ball imo.
The loss of a few PPV buys and the extra production costs do not outweigh the historical, epicness of doing a stadium show in Ireland, it would be huge for the sport in Europe.
Chance of rain, local curfew/time zone issues, there was something else too about the Irish stadium......say what you want about Zuffa but im sure they do their business calculations and logistics.
TDD - Gregson can't sell a stadium. The Ireland natives can't afford the tickets.
Cut to that bar they showed last night. Haha...
Wasa-B - Chance of rain, local curfew/time zone issues, there was something else too about the Irish stadium......say what you want about Zuffa but im sure they do their business calculations and logistics. The curfew is a major hurdle.

Couple of things:
The UFC needs all the PPV buys it can get at the moment and a big fight in Vegas will do a big gate as well. A stadium in Ireland will not make up the difference I imagine.
Conor becoming a superstar in Ireland doesn't necessarily mean the UFC will become more popular there. I'm guessing more people know him as 'that cagefighter' than 'that UFC fighter'.
The Sultan -Wasa-B - Chance of rain, local curfew/time zone issues, there was something else too about the Irish stadium......say what you want about Zuffa but im sure they do their business calculations and logistics. The curfew is a major hurdle.
AFAIK, that's only at Croke Park(the bigger stadium, 85K), I think the Aviva(55K) would be possible.
