And Newbs like to Rip on any fighter thats not on TV as UFC Champ saying they suck or are just cans. Guess what, alot people didnt know who bones Jones or many others were until they started beatin ass. Theres alot of guys out there who could ko anyone with a punch. Top fighter or not. But If your not a UFC Champ on TV, your probably just a "Can".
I already mentioned that Malikov is pretty legit, but the fact is that Aleks used to get a lot of hype from the PRIDE-obsessed nutbags on here, and quite frankly, he's a mediocre fighter and nothing more. Basically about as relevant to the modern HW division as Gilbert Yvel.

He was not a mediocre fighter in his Pride career. He was just a notch below the top tier guys. He had some good wins and some losses but was similar to Sergei in that he always seemed to fall short against the real elite guys of the time.
Now he seems to have hit a real downward turn basically since his long layoff and all the hepatitis shit that happened.
