After going away from MMA Alexander Emelianenko went to Greece to spend few monthes in a monastery (Mount Athos).

Athos is home to 20 stavropegial Eastern Orthodox monasteries under the direct jurisdiction of the patriarch of Constantinople.

I think they might actually speak russian,  out of those 20 monasteries in that place there is one populated by monks of russian origin.
