While I would agree with you regarding Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, there is as much evidence for Russia being responsible for shooting down that jet or killing a spy in UK as there is for Saddam owning weapons of mass destruction before the Iraqi War or Assad performing a gas attack on his own people before recent US air strike on Syria this spring, i.e. zero. Of course, Russia is no better than US, stupid too deny it, but at least Putin doesn’t support ISIS in no shape or form.

There were lots of investigations on the Malaysian Airlines Flight, and all the evidence points to Russia.

And yes - Russia as a society has a lot of shortcomings. It’s a very insular society, that is extremely intolerant to many communities - like the LGBT community.
Honestly - Russia is today where Europe was 30 or 40 years ago.
